What’s New at the Museum

A fierce battle had raged on the small island of Biak near the Philippines during WW2. Chaplin Leon Maltby arrived to find that he had nothing to conduct services. He set about making a communion service set out of 50 caliber bullets, a vase out of a 20 mm shell and a cross out of a 90 mm shell. Rev Maltby was for many years the pastor at Seventh Day Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida.
