The Move is almost complete

I note that the last time I updated this was in September. Well folks it’s been quite a trip. We moved 65 Exhibit Cases, 70 Mannequins and hundreds of boxes and related. We used “Two men and a truck” and they used 8 men and 3 trucks and labored for 11 hours. We recommend them highly, good people, reliable and reasonable, no funny stuff. Then there was a parade of our vehicles, sedans, SUV’s, minivans and an occasional pickup truck. We are indebted to all the volunteers who saved us, the Combat Motorcycle Group, the Knights of Columbus from Our Lady of Hope Church, and those great people who donated to our moving fund. Thanks so much- the Museum is preserved. Right now we are busy setting everything up. We hope to be open to the public in January with a grand opening in March. Our phone will be operational shortly after January 1st, call 386-679-4812 for the latest information or check back here and I’ll try and update more often. Again, l thank you all so very much and thanks to the wonderful DAV for sharing their home with us – The new museum will be better than the old and we can’t wait to share it with you.
