Museum Welcomes 37 year Navy Veteran

On June 7th we were privileged to welcome Captain Tim Rudderow, USN to the museum. Capt Rudderow has completed a remarkable career spanning over 37 years with the United States Navy. He joined as an enlisted man and worked his way up to his present rank of Captain. He was in the submarine service, explosives Ordinance Disposal, service in Afghanistan and was Commodore of EOD Group II. His home is in Fredricksburg, Virginia and it was our good fortune that he decided to spend an hour or so at the museum. Most notable was that he was stationed in the Pentagon on 911 and had to evacuate through smoke and fire to safety. A most engaging man and very pleasant to talk to. We hope that he will return again.
