A new Diorama at the Museum

Recently a new diorama was installed at the Museum. To honor the Veterans of Iraq, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf, we have created a diorama depicting a scene from Afghanistan with two costumed mannequins and two very important rifles that were used for the past hundred years in the middle east. Make sure you visit and check out this great new addition to our museum.

  1. I have a bunch of ‘souvenirs’ from Desert Shield/Storm. I would like to give them to a museum. I know the Smithsonian will take them, but they will probably end up locked in a storage room somewhere. Any interest?

    1. Hi- Yes Absolutely- We are in great need of items from the Desert Shield/Storm era for display. Please bring them to the museum anytime between 1-4 PM Tuesday through Saturday and there will be some one there to take them and give you a receipt. We can arrange pickup if necessary. I personally am there on Fridays 1-4 every week. Thanks so much for thinking of us. Bob, Curator
